Official Poker Rules

Each poker establishment’s rules can differ from poker room to poker room. The fact is, each poker establishment’s rules are generally the same but there will be slight differences in how they are carried out or if the dealers follow them. I’ve made this site to try and clearify rulings that come up in poker situations. Also, this site is a good source for answers to Texas Holdem rules that you didn’t know. Hopefully, Official Poker Rules will make your enjoyment of the game less focused on rules and more focused on strategy. So, shuffle up and deal.

Where do you play? Did you know that there is a new site out that has free poker, yet you can win real money? There is and it’s called Poker West. It just opened August 11th, 2008. Obviously that’s good because you can actually earn cash for free, but that’s not all. It also means you play real poker, because the players actually care about winning or losing.

There must be a catch, right? No, there isn’t. MySpace, Face Book, Gmail, etc are all free because they show you advertising while you use their service. Same thing with Poker West: They show you some ads in the poker program.
