Community card games
Games where players combine private hole cards with shared cards dealt face up in the middle.
In a community card game, each player is dealt a small number of private hole cards, and further cards are dealt face up in the centre of the table for everyone to use. Betting takes place before and after the shared cards are revealed. Texas Hold'em and Omaha are the best-known examples, and most modern cardroom poker is played this way.
